Improved Oral Health for a Lifetime of Smiles
Orthodontic assessment and treatment in the teen years play a crucial role in ensuring your teenager's smile is healthy, and developing as it should.
Although oral development slows as kids enter their teens, the face and jaw are still growing. This gives your orthodontist the opportunity to guide the development of your teen's teeth and jaw toward the ideal outcome.
Meldrum Orthodontics offers personalized treatment plans with braces or Invisalign to meet the unique needs of each teenage patient. We do this either as a stand-alone treatment or as a next step to their Phase 1 treatment.
Whether the goal is to improve bite function and comfort, adjust tooth alignment, improve aesthetics, or all of the above, we're here to help send your teen into adulthood with a healthy bite and a confident smile.
Flexible Payment Plans
At Meldrum Orthodontics, we believe that finances should never be a barrier to a healthy smile. We will work with you to create a payment plan that fits your budget so you will know what to expect before treatment begins.
Phase 2 Orthodontics for Teens Ages 13 - 18
If your child underwent early orthodontic treatment (Phase 1) when they were younger, as they enter their teen years it will be time to embark on Phase 2 of their treatment plan.
During Phase 1, your child received treatments designed to address isolated orthodontic issues that may have impeded healthy oral development, and provide room for emerging permanent teeth to grow in correctly.
Phase 2 is when the main orthodontic treatment begins. We use braces or Invisalign to guide teeth to their correct positions and address jaw and bite misalignments in teens.
Orthodontic Treatment Options for Teens
Our orthodontists offer Invisalign clear aligners and a range of braces styles for teenage patients from across the Georgetown and Orangeville areas.
